Wishing you all the best 30

Hi there! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where Melissa is challenging all to create a project featuring Kraft and colored pencils. I created a card for my sweet sister Marlene featuring a pretty image from the Year of the Flowers: Sweet Peas:
It's been quite some time since I used this stamp set in my card making so it was fun to put it to good use:
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge:
In celebration of my dear sister Tina's birthday last week, Tina and I went hiking in the Superstition Mountains located approximately 45 minutes from my home. Lots of beautiful wild poppies in bloom:
Here's Tina posing for a photo :)
I was approximately a 5 mile hike into the canyon:
I also have a 9" x 12" painting to share featuring roses inspired by Daniel Keys:

I'm linking my painting to the Paint Party Friday site:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Be Sweet ;)

Such a beautiful card! Love the bold dotted background with the softly colored flowers Mona! You painting is beautiful, did a great job on the roses :) Looks like a great place to hike!Love the poppies. We have had a fair amount of rain here so the desert is looking very pretty with all the little green grasses and lupine.
