winter wishes...Guest Designing 10

Hi! Today I have the honor of joining along as a guest designer with the tag You're... it! Guest Designer to be sharing another sample for the current challenge. 

The challenge is to CASE the Featured Artist or use his or her tag design to inspire you to create a design of your own. Shown below is the beautiful tag made by featured artist Leigh Penner:

This time I made a trio of tags featuring pretty snowflakes:

I heat embossed on vellum paper pretty snowflakes from the PTI What The Doodle: Snowflakes Mini Stamp Set then layered them on top of a plain white die cut:

 Hi! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Create Along With Us December challenge. This challenge allows you to select something that the amazing team has created during the release that inspired you, and create your own version. 

I was inspired by these pretty cards that Laurie created featured pretty blossoms combined with fun hearts:

I created two variations of similar cards featuring pretty roses from the PTI The Sweet Life stamp set. 

I frosted the roses with shimmery glitter:

The sentiment is from the 2010 Anniversary PTI Botanical Silhouettes stamp set! An oldie but goldie! :)

More shimmery roses and a strip of white heat embossed dots from the PTI Polka Dot Basics II set:

To create my tag, I layered heat embossed pretty PTI Snowfall Style 1 snowflakes on a dry embossed tag then completed it with a sentiment from the PTI Holiday Wishes Stamp set:

birthday wishes 21

Hi! Today I have a birthday card x 2 to share. I really struggle creating masculine cards so since I had to make a birthday card for my dear husband, I made one for a male friend of ours.

I created a water colored background then layered on a die cut forest scene:

I embellished with a double layered die cut snowflake and a die cut male deer then randomly spattered acrylic white paint in hopes of making it appear like snow.
