Hi there! I hope you are having a great week! I'm having fun learning new strokes and techniques from two of my favorite artists. Today I have a 9" x 11" canvas board featuring a trio of hydrangeas that were inspired by Nancy Medina's Blue Lace Hydrangeas DVD. I'm still not quite ready to tackle a large 20" x 20" or bigger canvas but I'm feeling a bit more comfortable with the oil paints and brushstrokes:
practice, practice, practice...
I'm going to link this up with: Paint Party Friday:
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you have a great week!

Hi Mona, it's seen from your painting progress that you are becoming more and more comfortable!!! The hydrangeas are so gorgeous. I am being a friendly critic Mona, hope you don't mind - introduce some more depth to them and they will pop out even more!;) I can't wait to see one day your painting on the large canvas! All the best.
Love the colors. Great work!!!
You can tell immediately that these are hydrangeas ... Fabulous piece of art!

You are so talented and all your paintings are so beautiful, Mona!!!! Always a pleasure to come here to see what you have made, be it a card, a scrapbook page or a painting!!!! TFS.
