a beautiful world 35

Hi there! I couldn't wait to play along with the current Mixed Media Place Creative Gym ~ Architecture challenge:
I wanted to scrap a beautiful Venetian building that Scott snapped a photo of while we were traveling down a Venetian street on a boat:
What's not to love about all that amazing design and detail in the structure?
If you look closely, you'll not the gondola parked out front curbside:
I added lots of texture using a brick stencil which seemed appropriate for the challenge :)
I also added lots of Prima micro beads for additional texture and design along with random stamping using a stamp from Prima's Rust & Dust stamp set:
Once the background was created, I embellished with a variety of Prima blossoms and die cuts including leaves and a doily:
I'm also joining entering this layout in the following challenges:
For sketch inspiration ~ the Scrappolis sketch challenge and We Love to Create Craft Challenges / Anything Mixed Media:
Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Be Sweet ;)
