love...a new DT announcement! 44

Happy Valentine's Day to all who celebrate! I am honored and thrilled to share that I've been invited to join the wildly talented and creative ColourArte DT!!! In celebration of Valentine's Day, I altered a paper mache heart shaped box for my dear husband Scott then filled it with a couple of his favorite sweet treats :)

After collaging the container with tissue wrap paper, I added lots of texture using a gel medium along with a stencil and a variety of metal trinkets:

Once dry, I randomly applied the following beautiful ColourArte Silks Acrylic Glazes: SLK-129 Black Ice, SLK-140 Bolivian Blue, SLK-143 Boysenberry, SLK-109 Honey Amber and SLK-104 Emperor's Gold. I used a Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker for the sentiment.
