season's greetings 34

Mona Pendleton | Tuesday, December 9, 2014 @ 12:34 PM | , , , , ,

Hi there! I hope you are having a great week so far. Today we are celebrating Scott's birthday and I'm looking forward to taking him out for a nice romantic dinner ;)

I joined along with Tim's 12 tags of 2014 ~ December challenge / tutorial and made a couple of tags.
First one up was made using a combination of Tim Holtz Ranger Spun Sugar and Tarnished Brass Distress Stain Sprays:
Following Tim's tutorial, I dry embossed part of the frosted film piece (upper part of tag) but it barely shows.
I was going for a more snowy background, so I randomly splattered the tag with Ranger Gesso:
For the second tag, I combined Tim Holtz Ranger Story Sky and Tarnished Pewter Distress Stain Sprays to create the background
Both deer were die cut using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Reindeer Flight die and the evergreen was die cut using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Pinecone die:
All sentiments were die cut using Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday Words: Script Thinlits dies:
Many thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you have a great day / evening!
Be Sweet ;)

I always am thrilled to see a post on tags as I love them so, and the ones you made here are gorgeous! I may try to re-create one myself if it's ok with you.

Good morning Mona: What great tags! Love them to bits. I am wanting to get "into" making tags, have a lot of stuff to contribute to them, but just haven't given myself a good enough kick yet. Seeing these two really makes me want to get them out and get going, I know once I start, there will be no stopping. I hope you and your family have a very happy and joyous Christmas season. :)
