Hi there! Today I have a couple of fun projects to share. First one up is a sneak peek of a project tutorial that I made exclusively for the Simon Says Stamp blog featuring a variety of Ranger products. Please be sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp blog to see the complete project as well as the steps I took to create it.
Next up is a two page art journal spread that I made for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge 3, Challenge 15:
I combined a variety of Ranger / Tim Holtz products:I combined a variety of Ranger Distress Spray Stains and Distress Ink:
die cut pieces using Tim Holtz Sizzix dies:
For the focal point, using a Tim Holtz Cabinet Card, I framed a photo of the beautiful BIG BEN featured on the UK Parliament building that was taken when Scott and I were vacationing in London:
for the title, I used a Tim Holtz rub on:
added lots of texture a variety of Tim Holtz stencils including the Harlequin stencil:Up next is page 2:
more texture using the Tim Holtz Clockwork stencil:
I challenged myself not to get carried away with bulky embellishments so I upcycled a cereal box and used to make the die cut pieces which worked out perfectly adding a touch of texture and design:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I would be tickled pink if you could take a moment to check out my tutorial on the Simon Says Stamp blog.
