Hi there! I hope you are having a great week! I'm so excited because I had a chance to create just for fun so I joined along with the Prima: February Build-A-Page sketch challenge.
I created a layout featuring a photo of sweet Meredith. I started with a pretty piece of paper from the Prima Princess collection then added lots of texture using the Graduated Dots Stencil. Once I had the background painted to my liking, I embellished with a variety of beautiful Prima products. One of the rules is that you need to use at least 90% Prima products.
A sweet little Prima cherub surrounded with Prima flowers were the perfect fit for this layout along with the shimmery Prima crystals that I scattered about. I clipped on a Prima clothespin to the photo of Meredith.
For the title, I used a fun set of Prima stamps:
Of course, more Prima flowers including metal ones:
and for the subtitle, I used a mini Prima sentiment lightbulb:

Wow Mona...this layout is so pretty. You've done such a beautiful job with Prima's basic sketch. Love all of your pattern and texture around your focal point of the beautiful photograph. Those frosty blue tones are lovely. And I love your sweet little angel watching over Meredith. The little flowers, bling and even the wispy fibers coming out from underneath the picture really "make" this piece. <3 Candy

That rule about the 90% is kind of a funny one... !! Lol !! I guess they know what they are talking about because the result is absolutely stunning !! I really like the repeat of the circles & dots !! You build up texture like no other!! :))

Stunning page. So pretty in blue and white...the black and white photo looks so good on the pretty background.
