Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend! My niece and great niece came over today to visit for a short time. While my niece, JennyLee, who is completing her post graduate degree in Education was grading papers, her 11 year old daughter, Madison, was working on homework and I was working on the wall hanging that I am sharing today.

I've been playing around with a variety of paints to create a patina effect. Each project that I have made so far has been very different than the one before. Madison was sitting at my side when I was working on this one and she gave me her stamp of approval after I applied many coats of paints over the dry embossed paper. :)
To create the fall foliage, I stamped and embossed several leaves from Fall Foliage then finished the hanging with a stamped sentiment from Fall Foliage along with a button from my stash.
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with Seize The Sketch and I also joined along with Hel's Sunday Stamper challenge where she is challenging us to make a hanging.
Many thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Be Sweet ;)

OMG, Mona, that patina effect looks so realistic! I had to do a double take to see that it wasn't aged metal/copper. WOW! Is there anything you can't do? I absolutely love this effect! I need to learn this immediately! You should do another of your awesome videos! hint hint :)
