MFT October Teaser Time Day 4 92

Mona Pendleton | Friday, October 12, 2012 @ 9:00 PM | , , , ,

Hello dear blogging friends! Welcome to the MFT October Teaser Day 4! I hope you are loving all these new MFT products as much as I am! Today we are introducing Thankful Leaves which coordinates beautifully with Die-namics Fall Leaves.

I have a few projects to share. First up, is a wreath FULL of MFT goodness that I made which has found a home on our family room fireplace mantle :)
I stamped the text image from Thankful Leaves on many leaves that were made using all three of the beautiful Die-namics Fall Leaves dies. I added a little texture by crumpling them in my hand then applied various Distress Inks. Besides the Die-namics Fall Leaves, the wreath contains lots of homemade cardstock pine cones using Die-namics Royal Rose and Die-namics Mini Royal Roses as well as rolled flowers made using Die-namics Rolled Flower die:
Notice the Sunflowers? They were made using the pretty Die-namics Sunflower dies and many rolled roses made using the following dies: Die-namics Large Royal RoseDie-namics Royal RoseDie-namics Mini Royal Roses.
I also have a card to share which features die cut leaves from Die-namics Fall Leaves but this time, I stamped the coordinating solid leaf images from Thankful Leaves on the die cut leaves followed with the leaf vein image.
I stamped a sentiment from Thankful Leaves on a die cut label that was made using Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels
The bottom Natural cardstock label was cut using another pretty shaped die from Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels and was stamped using the wooden board image from LJD Western Backgrounds.
Shown below are the Die-namics included in the October release that I used on my projects:

If you would like to see a short video on the steps taken to create the wreath I shared today, please feel free to watch the video that my dear sweet husband Scott ever so patiently filmed and edited for me :)
