Scallops and Lace.
I made a Sympathy card using one of the beautiful sentiments from the newly released
Flourishes Calla Lilies stamp set which is full of both gorgeous images and wonderful, heartfelt sentiments.
This card is for my dear girlfriend / colleague who lost her sweet 1 year old baby granddaughter this weekend to a rare blood disease. It is my wish that this card brings her both Hope and Comfort.

A beautiful card Mona, I always find sympathy cards difficult to do. The layered scalloped squares are a perfect focal point, and the patterned paper is so pretty. A lovely card.

AMAZING this is spot-on. The sentiment, the out-reaching hearth-felt response of care, wanting and offering empathy. There are very few cards that are are able to do this, with out coming across all sugar like, and or that are NOT feeling it. You hit it esp w/the colors, thats so important(as YOU would well know. we pause, we know it's a phases of the life-CYCLE, and we feel the loss,with HOPE in the future that we gain new-life on another plane

Wow, this is a well thought out card. The message, the shapes, it's a whole moving sort of card. It hits on the feelings of the now and the present AND moving forward. I hope to be able to make such cards. By the way what size is this card,..and size of most cards??
