Hi there! Hope you are off to a great start of a new week! I spent nearly ALL day Monday enduring the juror selection process for a 3 week open ended trial and was thankfully dismissed! It has been 18 months since I last had to serve on a 3 day trial so I was skipping out the door, feeling quite lucky to have not been chosen! Just being honest... Just curious, does anyone ENJOY jury duty??? I LOVE my job and would rather go to work ANY day over attending jury duty!

On to crafty matters ~  it's Tuesday and that means it's time for an all new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge and time to welcome Theresa Pollack who will be sharing her awesome creativity with us as December's Guest Designer! This week, Silke is our wonderful hostess and she is challenging us all to create a project based on the sketch shown below:
My card features the darling scene from Joy Is In The Air as the focal point framed using a circle die cut then layered on top of a doily. I stamped the Joy sentiment from A Gift For You then stamped the cluster of snowflakes from Joy Is In The Air. I colored the sweet image to coordinate with pretty patterned paper from the digital Pink Paislee digital Holiday Magic paper pack:
I adhered a layer a glitter to give it a winter wonderland look ;)
Thanks so much for visiting!  I hope you take on the challenge and for some awesome inspiration, please be sure to see what the following designers have created: TammyHeatherSilkeMakikoCindyBeateMona (that's me), Theresa Pollack (December Guest Designer). Please be sure to visit the Flourishes site for COMPLETE details on how to join in on the fun!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Flourishes Joy Is In The Air, A Gift For You
Die Templates & Machine: Spellbinders Labels Eleven, Eyelet Circles, Grand Calibur
Patterned Paper: Pink Paislee digital Holiday Magic

Hi Mona! what a sweet card! I love the cute snowman image popped up on the die-cut! The soft color palette is perfect and non traditional which makes it so unique. I have never suerved on jury duty so I have no idea if it is good, bad, or indifferent. I do know I would be the one stuck on a verdict because I always see truth in both sides of stories and look for good in everyone. I think my peers would be annoyed with my indecision. Hope you are doing well!

Such a beautiful card and so cheery ...
I only did jury service once ...You have to serve for 2 weeks minimum ... here in this city I found it scary ... at the end of the day the accused (on bail) actually leave the courts with you ... at the same time through the same door!! So unless they change that system I would not like to do it again!

So fun and so BEAUTIFUL Mona! Love the colors and that beautiful image!!!
Jury duty! That's thankfully something, as a non-US citizen, I was able to escape :) It certainly doesn't seem like something a lot of people enjoy ;)

Can't believe in all my years I have never been called for jury duty! Knock on wood-I think my son being a police officer would really hinder them accepting me.
This is so adorable and the glitter layer is perfect-love it!

So cute. I love the image glittered. I have never been called to Jury duty. Most of my adult life I have been in Ia. There isn't a whole lot going on here. I might actually like it....maybe. :)

This is so lovely Mona! I love the designer papers and how you colored the image! About the paper...do you just print out with normal cardstock? I never print DPs before and I was wondering they eats a lot of ink.

What a sweet and FUN card Mona. The colors are so cheerful. Love the image and the sparkle over it. The stitching and the tag are fabulous! I am not a citizen... yet... so I don't have to worry about JD. My hubby didn't enjoy it though...

Love, love, love this color combo! I am so tired of brown and gray. Great coloring on that image and the glitter really kicks it up to a whole new level! FANTASTIC.

Another beauty, Mona! Love that stamp with the glitter; looks like snow! I don't think you can love jury duty unless you have nothing else going on in your life. With the demands of a job and/or family who has time to enjoy it. I've been picked twice in my life and have struggled through the inconveniences! I guess I should be happy to be fulfilling my civic duty but still I too would rather go to work or be at home with my family! Now stepping off my soapbox...
