Hi there! Welcome to the Stampers Dream and Friends Blog Hop. I'm VERY honored that Michelle Rodgers, Owner of the on-line papercrafting store, Stampers Dream, has invited me to join along with her, her awesome DT and friends in this exciting event!
I created this card using various images from Studio 490 Well Worn Art stamp set. I stamped the flower image using SU Pretty In Pink ink within a label cut/embossed using a Spellbinders Labels Seventeen die template then I lightly sponged SU Barely Banana ink all around for a soft background. I stamped the beautiful sentiment using SU Chocolate Chip ink then layered the label on top of a strip of paper that was stamped using the houndstooth/plaid-like background image with SU Old Olive ink and a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park. I finished it off with a Prima butterfly embellishment, a few buttons, stitched on lace, a seam binding bow and a little glittered tag.

Very nice... feminine... colors and quote.
When I first read the sentiment it makes me think "heart health" with the rate so high in women and how we lost my mother in law to heart disease ..... and then it makes me feel like something I will say to my girls when they go on their first date ...... the soft flowers are so pretty and who does not love some houndstooth ?? Of course beautiful as always and I think I need this just to make a charm or card to carry with me when I am on the treadmill and feel like I cannot go anymore ........ I can just look at it and be inspired by the thought that I am keeping my heart healthy!!! Beautiful creation Mona!!!
