October Waltzingmouse Stamps Previews Day #1 80

Mona Pendleton | Monday, October 4, 2010 @ 12:00 AM | ,

Hi There! Today is Day #1 of the Waltzingmouse Stamps October Previews! Claire will be releasing FIVE new stamp sets on Thursday, October 7th & for the next 4 days, Claire, the Waltzingmouse DT & myself will be sharing some awesome samples showcasing these amazing stamps! Before I get to the samples I have to share today, I would like to introduce you to the latest Waltzingmouse DT Members: Please welcome Joan Bardee & Sandie Dunne  - both of these girls are incredibly talented & you may already be familiar with their beautiful art work! I am sure you will be very pleased to see what all the girls will be sharing today & over the next several days!
Today, I am sharing several samples made using both Compliments of the Season & Holiday Labels No. 14. Both of these sets are full of so many incredible designs that can be easily mixed & matched with a lot of other Waltzingmouse Stamps to produce wonderful projects, the possibilities are never ending! First up, is this Vintage Christmas card.
I inked up the polk a dot label image from Holiday Labels No. 14 with VersaMagic Spanish Olive Chalk ink, embossed with clear embossing powder then using a S4-290 Labels Fourteen die template to cut/emboss the label.

Next, is this elegant Snowflake card. I inked up the scripty text label with SU Close To Cocoa ink & stamped the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
It is so much fun and easy to make lil' embellishments using multi-colored craft foil. I made the  snowflake embellishment using a S4-286 2010 Snowflake Pendants die template to cut/emboss & sand a shimmery golden snowflake.
Last but not least is a Season's Greetings card using the darling lil' ornate label that was stamped using VersaMark ink and embossed using fine white embossing powder. I love the look of white embossing powder on Kraft cs - the image just seems to "pop" don't you think? The fancy tree foil embellishment was made using the tree die template from the S4-287 Fanciful Holiday set and topped off with a few pearls.
Holiday Labels No. 14 is just one of MANY of Claire's stamp sets that fits like a glove with Spellbinders™ die templates. A match made in my stamping Heaven ;)
I hope you enjoyed seeing these cards today featuring both Compliments of the Season & Holiday Labels No. 14. Please keep in mind, the cards I made show only THREE images from each of the mentioned stamp set, each set contains MANY, MANY more!

Please be sure to hop on over to see what Claire (Owner), Lisa, Julia, Joan, Lynn, Anya, Bonnie, Jennifer, Belinda, Sandie and Laurie have created surely to get you inspired :) That's all for today - I will be back tomorrow sharing more previews for Day 2. Thanks for looking :)
