More Vintage Ornaments...WMSC18 39

Mona Pendleton | Saturday, October 9, 2010 @ 12:00 AM | ,

Hi There! Just chasing my tail over here in my crafty corner of the world! This silly job of mine seems to get in the way of my papercrafting fun over the past few days :( Today, I have a card to share That I made for this week's Waltzingmouse Challenge:
Rather than using DP to create the ornaments, I pulled out some of my favorite Waltzingmouse Stamps and the S4-283 2010 Heirloom Ornaments die templates and flipped the sketch.

This card is a bit more CAS than I normally make. I love the look of the crisp embossed white Waltzingmouse images on solid cs.

Thanks for looking! Do you have any fun weekend plans??? Would love to hear about them :)

If you find some crafty time, please feel free join along with this week's sketch challenge. After you have made your project, please head on over to the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge site, link your post & be sure to see what the other Waltzingmouse DT girls & Mischief Makers have created. If you post your creations in an on-line gallery, please label it WMSC18 so we won't miss them! Note: you may use any stamps of your choice in our challenge entries. Of course, we love to see what you create using Waltzingmouse Stamps images, but they are not required to play.

***Please be sure to upload all of your Waltzingmouse Stamps cards/projects in the Gallery

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Pic-Nic Patterns, Off Beat Backgrounds, Very Vintage Christmas stamp set, Nutcracker Sweet

Those jobs just take up way to much time dont they!! I love those ornaments! The embossing really makes them pop along with the fun jewels. Really love the one with the jewels at each junction on the diagonal design! Fab job on the CAS! Hope you are not on call and get lots of card time this weekend :)

Mona, I love your homemade DP and the entire card! I just got these dies and am so excited with the possibilities for them (and even more come November - *WINK*). I still think Very Vintage Christmas is my favourite WMS stamp set. Love that border and how you used it here.
