Hi There! Are you all as happy as I am that it's Friday? YAHOOOO!!! I am looking forward to spending time at home this weekend, hanging out with my family and having some crafty time while Scott (my hubby) enjoys football! Do you have any BIG weekend plans? It rained every day while we were hanging out in San Diego but we enjoyed ourselves regardless. We ate at a few of our favorite restaurants, did a little shopping and went to see a movie. We spent the evenings just hanging out at "home", relaxing and creating :) I made this Christmas card using some yummy products:
I LOVE Melissa Frances products especially this new Home For The Holidays line that you see here on this card. I inked up the
A Merry Christmas to you sentiment from
Very Vintage Christmas stamp set then using a
S4-116 Standard Circles SM die template to cut/emboss the image. I am loving using the S4-293 Lacey Circles die templates to make lil' doilies!
For a pop of color, I made a Poinsettia embellishment using
S4-219 Nested Poinsettias die template and the wee lil' paper pieced Holly leaves in the lower right corner. To create leaves, I inked up the Holly leaf image from Very Vintage Christmas stamp set stamped, colored with a Copic marker, inked the edges with distressing ink then very carefully, cut them out using a sharp scissors. I crinkled them up in my had for an aged look.
