Waltzingmouse Stamps September Blog Waltz 135

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, September 12, 2010 @ 11:00 AM | , , ,

Hi Friends! I can't thank you enough for all the sweet comments :) I am so happy that you all sound as excited about Claire's latest stamps as I am! All FIVE of these sets are available TODAY at the Waltzingmouse Stamps store! If you arrived here from Lynn's site, then you are right where you should be! If not, please hop back over to Claire's site where the celebration began!

A few minor details: As with all of Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team Blog Waltzes, you have the opportunity to win a stamp set of your choice. Claire will choose from among all the comments left on all the Design Team blogs one lucky winner of the stamp set of their choice. The other winner will be chosen from comments left on her blog. You need not comment on all the Design Team’s blogs to win, but the more you comment, the better your odds. You have until 11:59 pm EASTERN TIME on Tuesday, September 14th to leave your comments. Good Luck!

Today, I am sharing several cards I made using Half Pint Heroes - which just happens to be the cuuutest set EVER! I made this card for my Step-Daughter Meredith who's dream car is a VW Bug, green convertible!
After coloring the car using a variety of Copic Markers, I cut it out & stitched some white wall buttons on then popped it up on a frame that was stamped with an image from Very Vintage labels No. 10 & cut/embossed with a S5-022 Labels Ten die template. I love the retro look of this car!
Next up, is this lil' guy in a submarine. I learned how to make the die cut waves using a S4-242 Big Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite die template from Spellbinders™ Blog Author Beth Pingry - (Click HERE to see her tutorial).
Did I forget to mention that Half Pint Heroes is overflowing with so many images & sentiments that can easily be mixed & matched for all sorts of occasion cards?
Next up, this lil' rocketship. Notice the countdown image on the right hand side - so much fun!

This set is quite versatile & can be used for so many occasions.

After seeing 3 days full of samples from Claire, myselft & the Waltzingmouse DT - which is your "must have" set?

To continue with the Waltz, please visit Carly's blog to see what she has to share with you!

Thanks for looking :)
