Yummy Easter Treats...JUGS26 36

Mona Pendleton | Friday, March 26, 2010 @ 8:57 PM | , ,

Hi Everyone! This challenge marks the 6 month Anniversary of the JUGS challenge site! Thank you all for your support & participation! We all surely appreciate it! :) I hope you are ready to think "outside of a card" because it is time again for a template challenge with Just Us Girls! This week I am Hostessing the JUGS26 template challenge & Lauren, Owner/Designer of the fabulous My Time Made Easy LLC products is sponsoring the challenge! Lauren has graciously given all of the JUGS Design Team girls the MTME © Slip Cover template that will be released April 1st! Please feel free to use ANY template that you have on hand! We would love to see a MTME template but if you don't own one, you can find a FREE MTME one - click HERE or visit the Splitcoaststampers Resource site - click HERE. I hope you come join the fun with Just Us Girls & our March Featured Designer: Stephanie. Lauren will be giving away to ONE lucky participant, a FREE MTME template! You must play to win :)

Here is my sample of the not yet released MTME© Slip Cover full of Yummy Easter Treats!

The © Slip Cover is a very versatile & easy to make template that can be used for soooo many occasions! Since Easter is right around the corner, I created the Slip Cover to serve as my gift box full of jelly beans!

After cutting the template, I stitched on this gorgeous vintagey Easter DP & inked the edges a bit with Ranger Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink.

I inked up this darling Inkadinkadoo bunny image, colored her with various Copic markers then cut her out using the Spellbinders Labels 1 die. Finished it off with a beautiful pink bow, a few pearls & a gorgeous Tim Holtz ornate plate!

I filled a small cellophane bag with these YUMMY pearlized jelly beans :) & attached a simple tag cut using the beautiful Spellbinders Labels 5 die.

I hope you think "outside the card" & come join along in the fun & make a project using a template! Thanks For looking - Be Sweet!

For complete details, please visit the Just Us Girls challenge site & be sure to visit ALL the DT girls (found on my side bar) as well as Stephanie! Big Hugs to Stephanie for joining JUGS for the month of March, we sure have enjoyed your weekly creations :) Once you have your creation photographed, be sure to go to Just Us Girls and post a direct link to your project on our site. If you upload to on online gallery, please be sure to label your project as JUGS26.

Deadline to be considered for the weekly "Chic of the Week" will be 9:00 PM EST on Thursday, April 1st. Our Inlinkz tool will also close at that time. Our top pick "Chic of the Week" will be announced on Friday morning following the deadline.
