Happy St. Patrick's Day!... Waltzing Mouse Blog Hop 54

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone! Today, Claire Owner/Designer of Waltzing Mouse Stamps is hosting a blog hop on her NEW forum. Claire challenged us to create a card "showing a little green" using ANY Waltzing Mouse stamp & has even provided free digital images for all to play with :) For those of you who are not familiar with Claire, she lives in Northern Ireland :)Here is my Emerald Blessings card:

I showcased Claire's free digital bunch of Shamrocks image & framed it in a Waltzing Mouse Very Vintage Labels No. 5 image that pairs wonderfully with the Spellbinders S4-229 Labels Five die. I discovered the fantastic Waltzing Mouse stamps when searching for stamps that paired with Spellbinders dies :)

After coloring the digital image with Copic markers, I paperpieced a few to add a little dimension to the bunch! I stamped the multi-colored stamped background with the ornate Waltzing Mouse circle image using Stampin' Up Green Galore, Not Quite Navy & VersaMark ink (embossed with Gold embossing powder).

This cute little tag was also made with one of Claire's free digital images. After printing, I centered a Spellbinders Labels 5 die over the image & ran through my die cutting machine then distressed the edges & added a few shamrocks.

I photographed this rainbow last week in my backyard. If you look close enough, you can actually see a double rainbow! I was hoping to find a Lil' Leprechaun with a Pot of Gold at the bottom of either but no such luck! :) Thanks for looking & I will see you on the Hop! Be Sweet!

Ingredients Used:

Stamps: Waltzing Mouse Very Vintage Labels No. 5 & free digital images,

Paper: Papertrey Ink, My Mind's Eye DP, OfficeMax digital

Ink: Copic markers, Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Up

Sprinkles: S4-229 Labels Five, Fiskars border punch, Stampin' Up punch, Papertrey Ink ribbon, Making Memories hardware, generic gold embossing powder, button & cord from stash

Mona--This card is so neat. The blue ribbon works so well against the green, and I love your Irish wish on the tag. That rainbow in the photo is really superb. It took a while, but I finally found the second rainbow. What a great card, and the photo to go with it is an added bonus. And, hey, I like your new blog opening page. Really nice. Sue M.
