If you need help with this process, by all means email me & I will be more than happy to help you :) My friend Julie, over at Julie's Open Window, sent me an email yesterday sharing her incredible news that the snow was flying in Illinois already! Yikes! Julie's news inspired me to make this snowman card! I had sooo much fun with this week's paper piecing technique for the Just Us Girls second challenge, JUGS2, & celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the use of PINK on my creation, I decided to make another card! For sketch inspiration, I used the CPS137 sketch & just flipped it sideways. Here is my paper pieced Snowman card:
The SU Kraft paper was embossed using the Cuttlebug snowflake EF. I inked up my snowflake image from PTI's Winter Swirls with VersaMark, then sprinkled on the embossing powder, heated with a small crafty heat tool!
With this Closeup pic, you can really see all the layers! I layered the hat,the 2 balls, the frosting & the cupcake wrapper! Soooo many pieces, sooo many textures.

Happy Columbus Day to you! I should be in bed right now but I had to check your site one last time this weekend. It's been a great week for you; congratulations on all your honors and recognition! Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that I love this card not only because of the beautiful design but also because I just flat out love snowmen! They are my all time favorite winter image. He is just gorgeous! I love the embossing on the snowmana and the border. That punch is fab. Your layers, layers, and more layers are what makes this card really stand out. The snowflakes are adorable too.
