For You! 12

For You card!

Hello there Cyber Girl Friends! Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Some of you girls were asking about the "setup" of the previous post, "Bonjour". Many times, I finish a card super late at night when the lighting is the worse.
My DH & I would struggle to get a well-lit photo of my creation so he surprised me with a photo light tent! If you have not seen one, it is simply a "pop-up" tent that comes in various sizes with a couple of lights with super bright CFL bulbs. The CFL bulbs used provide "daytime" light specifically for photographing anything you desire! I have seen homemade tents on the internet made from a cardboard box! It really makes a world of difference on how the card or item looks. I just added a patio table lantern as a prop! :) I hope this answers any ?'s that any of you had. This card is my entry for TWO challenges, the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge #233, SC233, & for the Diva Coffee Break Designs #132, DCBD132. I used a hand crocheted fleurette made by my sister Tina! The step-by-step fleurette directions can be found on Nichole Heady's website (*Tina used a size 7 crochet hook & Aunt Lydia's crochet thread). Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog. Please feel free to leave a comment! I always love to hear from you! :) Be Sweet! Until next time...

Mona, this is a very beautiful card! I love you combinations of colors and textures. You are really good at that stuff! It really looks like you've taken your photography to a new level as well. So perfectly presented (same on your previous card as well). What kind of camera do you use or is it better lighting? Thanks!
