Hi there! Today I have a few exciting things to share! First, I would like to share with you that Pion Design is celebrating their 5 year Anniversary and along with the celebration, they are giving away no less than five complete collections of Siri’s Kitchen in all different sizes! For complete details, please visit the Pion Design blog HERE and please let them know I sent you over :) Here's a look at the beautiful collection:
It's always like Christmas when the FedEx man delivers a box full of Pion Design papers right from Sweden! Today I had the day off from my "real" job so I jumped right into the box of fabulous papers and made a few cards.
For the first card, I featured a beautiful image from Porcelain along with a coordinating homemade rose made from Images:
Next up, is a card featuring a sweet image from Images:
along with a butterfly from Borders as well as a variety of other papers from Siri's Kitchen collection all noted below:
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the current retrosketches sketch challenge:
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you enjoyed my projects and be sure to stop by the Pion Design blog HERE for a chance to win an amazing prize!
Be Sweet ;)

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! Don't forget, it's Stamptember over at Simon Says Stamp and I really hope you'll join us for a month long stamp party full of inspiration and celebrations. It's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Whether you stick with STAMPtember stamping or mix it up and pull out a stencil - this week we want to see how you stamp or stencil your way into crafty fun this week!
I was inspired to create a mixed media style card using both stamps and a stencil:
I love t0 create layers on my projects using both stamps and stencils. This week, I inked up a fun sentiment from Apothecary Labels surrounded it with various flowers including die cut roses.
For the background, I combined a variety of Distress Inks and added texture and design using the Latticework stencil.
Thank you for visiting! Please be sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has created!

Hi there! Do you have any fun weekend plans? Early tomorrow morning around 6:00 am, Angie and I are headed to the one day event called Junk in the Trunk! It's a HUGE indoors flea market style event. We are hoping to find a few treasures and trinkets :)Tonight I have a layout to share featuring a photo of Angie:
I surrounded her with die cut fall foliage and roses:
I just love this photo of Angie that was taken by a friend:
To create the background, I added lots of texture using a Tim Holtz stencil along with texture paste, various distress stains and Tim Holtz stamps. The layer immediately behind the photo, was cut using a Sizzix Tim Holtz die and grungeboard then coated with Distress Paint and Distress embossing powder:
I embellished with die cut grungepaper fall foliage and die cut roses that were made using Sizzix Tim Holtz dies:
and colored using various Distress Stains and added a layer of crackle Paint to the leaves:
The title is from a Tim Holtz stamp set:
For theme / color inspiration, I joined along with the current A Vintage Journey which is: The Colours of Autumn and for sketch inspiration, I joined along with the current Sketchabilities sketch challenge:
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend!

Hi there! So happy to be playing along with the September Prima Build A Page sketch challenge:
I created a layout featuring a photo of my dear daughter Angie:
surrounding her with a variety of pretty Prima products:
To create the background, I combined pretty papers from the Prima Something Blue collection:
I added texture using a Prima stencil and embellished with various Prima trinkets, flowers and die cuts:

The title was stamped using my favorite Prima typeset font stamp set:
The color inspiration came from the current Scrap Around The World challenge mood board ~ (the binoculars, the set of books and the heart pendant):
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you have a great rest of the week!
