I combined a variety of PTI stamp sets to create my layered card including the following: PTI Holiday Greens, PTI Beautiful Berries: Winter Stamp set, PTI Polka Dot Basics 111 stamp set and PTI Mat Stack 5 stamp set.

Merry Christmas...Exciting News! 14

Hi! Today I have the honor of joining along as a guest designer with the tag You're... it! challenge design team. If you have not visited the challenge site, please be sure to stop by to see all the fabulous inspiration and join along with the challenges!

The challenge is to CASE the Featured Artist or use his or her tag design to inspire you to create a design of your own. Shown below is the beautiful tag made by featured artist Jessica Frost -Balls to be inspired by:

Here's my interpretation:

My tag features a die cut chipboard female deer (doe) that I embossed with pretty gold embossing powder. The tag was stamped/heat embossed using PTI snowflake stamps then inked using Distress Inks.

I also made another similar tag featuring a male deer (buck):

Love all the shimmer and shine in the gold embossing powder:

Merry Christmas 21

Hi there! Today I have a couple of Christmas projects to share. I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the challenge is to create a Photo Christmas ornament. I made an ornament featuring a photo of Meredith and Connor that was taken 16 years ago using the PTI Shaker Shape: Ornament die:

 I embellished it with a few bottle brush trees from the PTI Joyful Christmas stamp set:

Up next is a Clean and Layered style Christmas card featuring a trio of my favorite PTI Vintage Ornaments (which I've had for years but recently ordered the dies! So happy that they were still available for purchase!):

Winter wishes 23

Hi there! Today I'm honored and thrilled to be a guest featured on the Stamps and Stencils challenge blog. The DT has beautiful projects to share ~ please be sure to visit the Stamps and Stencils challenge blog. The current challenge is all about Pastels. Here's my take on the challenge:

To create my card, I inked the background then randomly stenciled snowflakes.  Next, I randomly heat stamped and heat embossed snowflakes. I embellished the card with a pair of die cut ice skates which I painted and stitched up. I topped it off with die cut sprigs and a fancy bow.

Hi! Today I'm joining along with the PTI November Create Along With Us challenge where we are to choose a design team members team who's card has inspired us.

To create my card, I inked and stenciled the background using a stencil which I created using a Silver White Winters snowflake die then embellished with a glitter covered Damask Snowflake:

My card features a few die cut trees which I coated with a sprinkling of shimmery glitter then layered on top of a dry embossed background:
