Hi there! Today I have a few projects to share. I'm joining along with this week's PTI Make It Monday challenge where Lexi is challenging us to create a project using pattern play with die cut silhouettes. I made two similar cards featuring the beautiful PTI Life is Beautiful butterfly die along with fun papers from the Twig Wreath paper collection. The first card up is for my dear DIL April who is celebrating her 28th birthday today:

Hi there! Hope you are having a great weekend! Today I have a bouquet of yellow roses to share that I painted on an 8" x 8" canvas using oils. I love painting these smaller works because I'm getting in a lot of practice with my brushstrokes. Not there yet but 100 + strokes closer :) baby steps...

Love you with all my Heart 28

Hi there! Today I'm joining along with this week's PTI Make It Monday challenge where Melissa is challenging us to create a masked heart wreath. 

To create the wreath, I used a variety of fun stamps from the PTI Bloomin' Cute stamp set along with a PTI Limitless Layers heart die. Upon completing the stamping and removing the die cut heart shape mask, the adhesive ripped the background so then I had to use the die to cut the heart shape out :) The sentiment is from the With All My Heart Stamp Set.

For color inspiration, I'm joining along with the current The Paper Players challenge:

Up next is a 12" x 12" oil painting featuring Stargazer Lilies inspired by Nancy Medina:

Hi there! Today I have a card to share that I created for my dear son who recently had oral surgery. I'm joining along with this week's PTI Make It Monday: 2016 A La Carte challenge where I chose to give the Chalkboard Technique inspired by Betsy's card HERE.

big hugs...Poppystamps Blog Blitz 16

 Hi there! Welcome to the Poppystamps New Release Blitz!

The blog blitz runs from January 9-January 23, 2017. We'll be giving away a prize on every post during this time. Most days we'll have 2 posts so check the Poppystamps blog HERE often! I created a trio of cards featuring the pretty Capri Heart die which is the PRIZE for today!

To create this card, I stenciled the background using the memory box Texture Mini Dots designer stencil then layered two Capri Hearts on top of a Super Square die cut. I completed it with a fun sentiment from the Grateful Heart stamp set:
