Hi there! Today I have a super cute project to share that my sweet daughter Angie made and gifted to me for recently celebrated birthday. Angie is a talented artist and one of her mediums is welding. She made this sweet girl for me using various trinkets and treasures that she has collected from the metal scrap yard and thrift stores. She sits beautifully in my craft room :)
I also have a card to share featuring a trio of fun stamped teacups on a mixed media background.
I inked up one of the pretty PTI teacups stamps, spritzed with water then stamped on a die cut coordinating tea cup that was cut using a watercolor paper. The background was created using a MFT stencil, Prima Matte Gel along with a piece of watercolor paper. Once dry, I added color by randomly dragging ink pads across the paper.
I'm entering the card in the following challenges:
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the retro sketches sketch challenge:
The Friday Mashup! challenge ~ create a project with "3 elements on it"
and the Try it on Tuesday challenge ~ "Tea Cups or....Mugs".
Thanks so much for visiting ~ I hope you have a great day / evening!
Be Sweet :)
