Let it Snow...

Hi there! I hope you are having a great week. Today I have a layout to share featuring pretty patterned papers from the versatile Pion Design My Beloved Son collection. 

I scrapped a photo of Connor and Meredith that was taken several years ago while we were vacationing on a ski trip somewhere in the US :) 
For the background I chose to use a more solid sheet of paper named "Images ~ back" because this left an open blank canvas allowing me to randomly stamp and emboss snowflakes as well as adding texture using a stencil. 
I embellished with a couple of die cut snowflakes and flowers from my stash:

    Striking layout! The tear is a fabulous detail, as well as all the other embellishments. I love layers and looking for hiding treasures of details.

    Ah blue and white - a favourite combo of mine. The Pion papers are gorgeous, as are the photos. I can't imagine what it would be like to be surrounded by all that snow!
