thinking of you


Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the challenge is to create a stenciled water colored background. 
I created a water colored background piece behind the focal point using a stencil from my stash. For the focal point, I water colored a pretty blossom and leaves from the Doodlie-do set:
I've also have a bouquet of oil painted roses to share inspired by Nancy Medina. I painted this on a 12" x 12" canvas.

    Love seeing another of your paintings, Mona--this one is a beauty with the gorgeous 2 tone roses & amazing pitcher! Beautiful card--love your watercoloring! Think I'll use a stencil you designed for MFT to make my PTI card--just have to choose which one!

    The watercolour background is the perfect foil for the crisp, stamped image. Beautiful work. So good to see your painting again on this 12x12 canvas with the dramatic red and gold colours. TFS

    Mona, your card is outstanding! Love the orange Doodlie-Do stamp with the pale blue stenciled background. Your roses in the pitcher painting is outstanding as well. Love the hint of orange in the white roses all snug in the red pitcher.
