Happy Birthday to You

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the theme is Celebrating 2009 the Past, Present and Future of several of the stamp sets released in that year. I made a birthday card for my dear sister Tina featuring the Damask Design stamp set from 2009. I stamped then heat embossed the background using one of the damask design stamps to create the white on white background.
For the focal point, I stamped an orange peony using the stamp from Pretty Peonies:

    This is a pretty card for Tina! I like the fancy embossed background and have always loved this peony stamp. Speaking of love, your pretty painted pansies have me swooning!

    A wonderful card with a beautiful background and focal point! LOVE your painting, so lifelike.. the pansies, the can, the grapes ... wow!! The style reminds me of the paintings made by the 17th century masters.
