My Creative Escape

Hi there! It's time for a new More Than Words Challenge! This month's challenge is all about:
Word: Escape
Creative Challenge: The Mood Photo 
Here are some close ups of my painting:
Painting is my creative escape! The rainbow of colors in the photo inspired me to give Gary Jenkins Rainbow Roses video tutorial a try. This is an 11" x 14" gessoed art board painted with oil.

    Oh my gosh, Mona, your gorgeous painting has struck such a chord with me this time - it reminds me of my sweet sister and all the things and colors she loved. It is so beautiful - but brought tears to my eyes. I love it and your piece is amazing.
