MFT November Teasers Day 1

*** I have two posts today, if you are looking for my MFTWSC97 post, please click here***
Thank you :)

Hi there! Welcome to Day 1 of the MFT November Teaser Time! Today we are showcasing two of Lisa Johnson Designs fun stamp sets: Stitched Stockings and Darling Dots along with the coordinating Die-namics Stocking Trio.

In case you missed the announcement, MFT now has their own custom colored AMAZING coordinating ink pads and reinkers. Wild Cherry and Jellybean Green will be included in the November release with lots of other Replenishments!

I had so much fun stamping with Stitched Stockings and Darling Dots! For my first project, I decorated a small shadowbox featuring lots of stamped images and die cuts along with one of my favorite photos of Connor that captures the innocence of the little boy he was. We caught him peeking up the chimney to see if he could catch a glimpse of Santa!

When I first saw the LJD Stitched Stockings stamp set and coordinating Die-namics Stocking Trio, I knew what I wanted to create. Sure wish all my projects came together like that!

To create the background, I stamped and heat embossed the larger image from Darling Dots on Kraft cardstock, trimmed to size, adhered in place, then I was ready to embellish!

I die cut three Sweet Tooth cardstock stockings using Die-namics Stocking Trio then stamped the coordinating stocking image from Stitched Stockings on each. The green stocking was stamped using Jellybean Green and the red stocking using Wild Cherry ink then I attached them to a Hemp Cord line that is fastened to two large Kraft buttons. The sentiment "May this Christmas be filled with" fits perfectly on a stamped die cut ticket made using Die-namics Just the Ticket die.
I finished it off with a trio of  sweet sentiments from LJD Stitched Stockings that I stamped on die cut sentiment strips made using Die-namics Sentiment Strips then stitched a Kraft button on each.
I also made a card featuring yet another trio of Stitched Stockings and featuring pretty Paver Red cardstock. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment on a die cut tab made using Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome.
I completed the inside with a stocking image and another sweet sentiment from Stitched Stockings.
Shown below is the Die-namics die included in the November release that I used on my projects today:

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you enjoyed my projects as much as I enjoyed creating them! I'll be back tomorrow with more to share for Day 2!
Be Sweet :)
