the Power of Pink...CR84FN65

***I have two posts today ~ if you are looking for my MFT October Day 5 Teasers post, please click HERE***

Hello there sweet blogging friends! Hope you are having a great weekend! It's time for an all new CR84FN Color Challenge! Thanks so much to all who joined along with CR84FN64 and who to all who showed interest in joining the CR84FN DT! So many pretty projects!

For nearly the next two weeks, we will be playing with the pretty color combo shown below. Photos courtesy of Martha Stewart.
If you have been visiting my blog over the past several days, you know that I am in the midst of the MFT October Teasers. Well today, we are featuring the Have Hope stamp set and Die-namics Support Hope die set. Being that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought creating a card featuring both the stamp and die sets would be a great opportunity to spread the word! So to all of you, please be sure to perform your monthly self breast exams and follow your doctor's recommendation on getting a Mammogram! The statistics are alarming!

To make this card, I used the bra die from Die-namics Support Hope to make a Pink Lemonade colored bra featuring a little die cut Cotton Candy bow. I stamped a sentiment from Have Hope on the lower third of the card right above the pretty die cut border that was made using Die-namcis Faux Crochet Border.
To create the lacy layer, I used a die from Die-namics Support Hope to die cut a piece of lace ribbon. I layered the bra on top of a layered die cut doily that was made using Die-namics OVAL Decorative Doily and an oval die from Die-namics Oval STAX Set 1.
Thanks so much for visiting! Please be sure to visit the DT members for wonderful inspiration (listed on my side bar) and the CR84FN site for COMPLETE details.
Be Sweet :)
