MFT August Die-namics Feature and Pep Rally

Hi there! Welcome to the August MFT Die-namics Feature & Pre-Release Pep Rally! Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT. But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally! We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique. And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new?  Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list.

For today's project, I chose to focus on the beautiful Die-namics Layered Rose die set because I enjoy creating paper flowers and this set is so fun and versatile, the possibilities are endless!

Have you ordered from MFT lately? If so, then you may have received some pretty pink tissue paper lining the box? DON'T throw it out as it can be used to make beautiful tissue paper roses! Yep, I upcycled that tissue paper and made the pink blossoms on this layout! The white ones were made with tissue paper on hand.

I die cut a bird cage using the Die-namics Contempo Cage & Stamp Set then adored it with a MFT tissue paper rose along with a flourish that was made using the Die-namics Medium Leafy Flourish.

I love the delicate look of tissue paper Roses don't you? The bigger white and pink blossoms shown were made by layering stacks of 4 pieces of tissue paper x all 5 Die-namics Layered Rose dies:

The smaller pink Rose blossom below was made like the larger ones but using the 3 smallest dies rather than all 5:

My MIL is quite a sophisticated Southern woman so I added a cameo that was made using the Die-namics Vintage Cameo Frame Die & Stamp Set. I stamped one of the many wonderful sentiments from the Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents set and framed it using a Die-namics Designer Labels 2 STAX die.
