Summer Blossoms...FLLC June Release Noon Challenge

Welcome to the FLLC June Release Noon Challenge 1! If you haven't already seen the Flourishes June Release Sneak Peeks Day 1 samples by the Flourishes DT, be sure to visit the Flourishes blog ~ you are sure to be inspired!


HOW TO PLAY: This challenge is all about adding dimension to your card or creation. Simply pop up an image on your card and you'll be in the running. What do we mean by giving your card pop? Isolate an area of your card and add dimension by cutting and popping up part of your image. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCJUNERW1. All entries must be in by Friday, June 15th to be in the running. The winner of this challenge gets Flourishes entire release for June!


Using the new beautiful Flourishes Summer Blossoms stamp set, I made myself a mini altered note book with lots of texture and popped up blossoms as well as a popped up sentiment:
 I started with an inexpensive notebook that I purchased from a local craft store for $1.00!!! After painting and applying pretty patterned paper from the Pink Paislee London Market collection to the cover and back, I stamped the pretty corner floral image x 6, once for the complete image and five other times for the pretty little blossoms, then fussy cut them out.
 Using a glue dot, I popped up a little blossom in the decorative charm:
 I stamped the sentiment, cut using a Spellbinders Oval die then popped it up with a few 3D foam squares.

    I do not say this often but this notebook is drop dead gorgeous. I'd have to put it up as a perpetual keepsake to keep from messing it up, lol. Your work is extraordinary!!!

    I realise I must have been missing a load of handmade jewels; I've been shaking my renovating bones too hee hee...painting and remodeling. Also creative but in a completely different way.

    Oeh, this is gorgeous, Mona! Love the 'layers in the color' if you know what I mean by that... I'd like to tell you something, my brother-in-law was working on his laptop here sitting behind my desk and he saw your art work hanging there and he was very, very impressed!!! He absolutely loved it, didn't even mind that it was girly pink, hi hi. Just had to tell you this!! :-D
