winter wonderland

Hi there! It's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week's challenge is all about Winter stamping. Will you stamp a snowy scene? Try a new use for a snowflake stamp? Perhaps be inspired by the colors of winter in your ink choices...

I was inspired to stamp a winter wonderland on a picture frame:
I love to alter home decor pieces and this challenge inspired me to do just that. The photo featured was taken while we were on a ski trip at Squaw Valley:

I collaged tissue wrap to the frame to create a base then from there, I applied stormy sky Distress Paint followed with randomly stamped / heat embossed Grunge Flakes:

For added interest and design, I used Texture Paste along with the Latticework stencil. 

A die cut crackled Stacked Snowflake was added to complete the project:

The title was die cut using a couple of the beautiful script Holiday Words:
