#journey...

Hi there! Today I'm really excited to share with you a project along with a step by step tutorial over on the Simon Says Stamp blog ~ HERE that you won't want to miss ;) I would be tickled pink if you stopped by to say hi ;) Here's a sneak peek:
I joined along with the A Vintage Journey challenge where we are challenged to create a project using Tim Holtz Distress Stains:
I made this layout featuring a photo that was taken while Scott and I were hiking The Great Wall of China a few years ago:
To create this layout, I used the following colors of Distress Stains: broken china, tarnished brass and vintage photo. After adhering the die cuts and strips into place to create the background, I then added lots of texture using Ranger texture paste along with Tim's Harlequin stencil:
I embellished with a trio of homemade Tattered Florals and Garden Greens:
For the title, I framed a stamped Hashtag sentiment with a die cut grungeboard ornate frame:
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the Scrap365 sketch challenge:
Many thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Be Sweet ;)

Supplies used: 99.9% Tim Holtz brands which ALL may be purchased at the Simon Says Stamp Superstore!
