just for you 37

Hi there! I'm so excited to be joining along for the first time with the PTI Make it Monday challenge. This week, the challenge is to stamp on a Mason (Ball) jar. When I saw this challenge, I knew immediately that I wanted to make a project combining both PTI stamps and papers from the Pion Design Siri's Kitchen collection.
I've been refinishing and painting furniture with Angie over the past few months so I have accumulated quite a collection of chalk paint from various manufacturers. I pulled out one by Martha Stewart to paint this Ball jar, allowed to dry then stamped and heat embossed little flowers from PTI Beautiful Blooms.
I topped off with a crocheted doily and tag that was made using fun papers from the latest Pion Design Siri's Kitchen collection along with many PTI dies and stamps from PTI Friendship Jar.
I also made a coordinating card featuring the fun label from the Pion Design Siri's Kitchen collection:
The tag was stamped stamped with a sentiment from PTI:
Thanks so much for visiting ~ I hope you have a great day / evening!

Hi there! I hope you are enjoying the weekend! Today I have a layout to share that I created just for fun featuring a trio of photos of my sweet husband Scott and I on our wedding day over 10 years ago already! Time sure does fly doesn't it?
 Here are some closeups:
I combined pretty 7 Dots Studio patterned papers with fun stencils and stamps that were designed by my ever so talented blogging friend Kasia:
I embellished with a trio of die cut Fancy Butterflies:

For the title, I used fun PTI stamps and dies:
For theme inspiration, I joined along with the 7 Dots Studio challenge where the theme is "A New Beginning" ~ (I think wedding photos covers this one ;)
For color inspiration, I joined along with color throwdown color challenge and for sketch inspiration, I joined along with Stuck?!Sketches sketch challenge:

Peace...PTI Blog Hop 32

Mona Pendleton | Thursday, September 25, 2014 @ 1:39 PM | ,

Hi there! It's been a few years since I joined along with the PTI blog hop! I recently rearranged my crafting supplies and came across my stash of PTI stamps and dies. It was like Christmas morning!!! I showed them some love and made this card:
For color inspiration, I referred to the color inspiration recipe shown below. (I don't own PTI autumn rose as of yet so I had to go with PTI Raspberry Fizz).
I combined a few PTI stamps with various dies including a beautiful PTI snowflake. I was pleasantly surprised that the Enchanted Evening ink pad was still good as new even though I haven't used it for quite a long time!
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the Fusion sketch challenge:
Thanks so much for visiting!

ALWAYS IN MY THOUGHTS... 37

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, September 21, 2014 @ 9:01 PM | , , , , , ,

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! Don't forget, it's Stamptember over at Simon Says Stamp and I really hope you'll join us for a month long stamp party full of inspiration and celebrations. It's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Whether you stick with STAMPtember stamping or mix it up and pull out a stencil - this week we want to see how you stamp or stencil your way into crafty fun this week!
I was inspired to create a mixed media style card using both stamps and a stencil:
I love t0 create layers on my projects using both stamps and stencils. This week, I inked up a fun sentiment from Apothecary Labels surrounded it with various flowers including die cut roses.
For the background, I combined a variety of Distress Inks and added texture and design using the Latticework stencil.
Thank you for visiting! Please be sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has created!
Be Sweet ;)
